Congratulations to Brian and Yoshi representing Megalodon MMA well in today’s tournament. Both guys fought hard and showed excellent technique and determination. Brian had 4 extremely tough matches that he was able to come from behind to get submissions…resulting in Brian getting awarding his blue belt by Jacare’.

New BJJ Fundamentals Class February 22, 2011

We now have a BJJ Fundamentals class on Fridays and Sundays from 6pm to 7:30pm taught by blue belt Josh Wentworth. This class will deal less with learning specific techniques and more with developing good grappling habits, being a good training partner, and learning the fundamental basics of grappling. This class will have less live rolling and more “Flow” rolling with an emphasis on thinking about what you are doing and learning to adjust. Everyone is welcome to attend and anyone who has been training for less than a year is encouraged to do so.
